Where we work

Service areas across Illinois

InfoMax Consulting is a DOT and FMCSA compliance consultancy with one office, in Naperville, Illinois. Carriers in the western suburbs and across the Chicago metropolitan area get on-site work; everyone else gets the same program remotely.

The office

One office, in Naperville.

InfoMax Consulting Inc. works out of a single location in south Naperville. Downtown Aurora is roughly fifteen minutes west; downtown Chicago is roughly 35 miles east.

Coverage model

How coverage actually works.

On-site work runs across the counties around the office: DuPage County, Kane County, Will County, and Kendall County. Inside that radius, being there is cheap enough that we default to it. Somebody drives out, walks the yard, opens the filing cabinet, and watches how a load actually gets dispatched. Most of what goes wrong in a compliance program is a process problem rather than a document problem, and process problems are visible in a yard and invisible in a shared folder.

Outside that radius the program is identical and the delivery is remote. Remote does not mean a template and a phone call. You send records, we read them against the same parts an FMCSA reviewer reads them against, and you get the same written findings with owners and dates. DataQ filings, Clearinghouse queries, permit and registration work, driver file maintenance, and monthly CSA monitoring are all record work: they happen in the same systems whether we are forty minutes away or four states away. The piece that genuinely benefits from being in the room is the first assessment, and for an out-of-state carrier we replace it with a longer document review and a guided video walk of the yard and the shop.

That is also why there are two city pages here rather than twenty. A page for every town we could technically drive to would be a list of place names with the same paragraph under each, which helps nobody deciding whether to call. Aurora and Chicago get their own pages because carriers in those two markets genuinely face different problems: Fox Valley fleets are usually working through authority questions, new entrant audits, and registration, while Chicago fleets are usually working through inspection volume, interchange equipment, and crash records. If your market is not one of those two, the work is the same and the conversation starts the same way.
